Not an emergency service

TradeLine Assist takes messages. It doesn't send anyone out. It gives only basic safety messages: for example, anyone who reports a gas smell is told to leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service. If you smell gas or suspect a gas leak, call 0800 111 999. If there is a fire or danger to life, call 999.

It's an AI and can make mistakes

The assistant is an AI. It can mishear or misunderstand, particularly with accents, background noise, names, addresses and phone numbers. Summaries and transcripts are generated automatically. Check the details, especially the phone number and address, before you rely on them.

Recording and callers

Calls handled for customers are recorded and transcribed, and callers are told this in the greeting. Each customer remains responsible for their own callers' data.

Availability

The service depends on telephony, speech and AI platforms run by other companies, and on each customer's call forwarding. We can't guarantee it will always be available or that every call will be answered.
